I’d say B, if it had the tiny V6.

So I vote A, because that gen Corolla is a great anyway - in the way that Mr. Regular praised the Tercel, it’s the same only bigger. And fucking bulletproof.

bulletproof is the original reason I bought this specific gen of Corolla.

just the DOHC 4 in the MX3, not the tiny v6. but that means better MPGs right?

I mean, if you’re trading in the Corolla for an MX-3, be honest, you’re not after mpgs, but a more interesting car. And no fa ult there! The MX-3 is cool, and they look great! But the Corolla is going to get you the same or better mpgs with less drama.

mine is drama free, but with the 3 speed auto it gets ok mpgs, not great.

My sister had a 4 door 5 speed Integra (‘92, I think) that she used to let me drive. That was a fun car, I had my 85 CRX Si at the time. Both of them got totaled, I was rear ended by a Cougar (ha), and my sister was t-boned by a pickup that ran a redlight. Poor cars.

I’ve been looking for something small and fun to tinker with and stumbled across that MX3 a few days ago.

Ewww, yeah.

I mean, if you could have your cake and eat it too, why the hell not then? It’s just a matter of dealing with the unknowns. And that’s why Oppo exists, because we are all a curious lot, searching for our piece of automotive nirvana. And often that means taking a leap, fixing what’s bad and broken, and sharing the journey .

I just spoke to him, said he’s actually in Aurora, but listed it in Colorado Springs becuse it failed an emissions test, and the springs has no emissions testing. hmm...
